Deloitte appointed Administrators to Powwow Water Company Limited

John Reid and Brian Milne of Deloitte, the business advisory firm, were appointed Joint

Administrators of Powwow Water Company Limited on 25 March 2010.

Powwow Water Company Limited was incorporated in 2007 and is a distributor of pure

spring water to circa 50,000 customers across the UK. It employs approximately 360

staff across its head office in Oxford, spring water and bottling plant in Fillongley and

nine distribution centres.

John Reid (lead partner), partner and Joint Administrator commented: “The Company

has been suffering severe cash flow problems. We intend to mothball the business whilst

seeking a purchaser for the business and assets. Unfortunately the majority of the 360

staff will be made redundant; whilst we consider the options for the business.”
