The Synergy between AquAid Water Coolers and The Africa Trust Elephant Pumps

The Synergy between AquAid Water Coolers and The Africa Trust Elephant Pumps

AquAid’s high-volume bottle fed and mains fed water coolers are the perfect solution where there is a high demand for a constant supply of fresh drinking water – wherever the location: football grounds; offices; worksites, warehouses; medical rooms; colleges; workshops; hotels; varsities or schools.

Every AquAid Large Capacity Mains Fed Water Dispenser is designed for ease of operation and to run efficiently.

For illustrative purposes, we are looking at the High Capacity Mains-Fed Hydrator Water Cooler, as it has an extra-large reservoir – a point-of-use water dispenser specially designed for serving a large number of people.

With a dispense gap of 230mm, easily accommodating varying sizes of water containers, the Hydrator can dispense up to 40ℓ of chilled water each hour, a sufficient volume to fill 120 x 330ml bottles.

The Hydrator’s sturdy design, developed for use in high usage areas, also boasts Hygiene Guard silver impregnated dispense tap reduces bacteria transfer and a flood guard anti-leak device for added security.

And there you have it, cool drinking water on tap. All the clever little (and large) mechanisms silently operating behind the scenes, all the while ensuring that you – thirsty Thelma or Thaddeus – remain properly hydrated and super productive throughout your working day or night.

Synergy

Every installation of an AquAid mainsfed water cooler and each bottle of water replenished brings with it donations that are used to build more water wells – referred to as Elephant Pumps – for communities in water scarce regions across sub-Saharan Africa.

So, the next time you press a button and fill your water bottle, mug or glass, think about the fact that not only are you keeping yourself healthy and hydrated but also with that simple push, you will have directly contributed towards:

Another draught of clean drinking water pumped into a bucket or onto a banana plantation that will pay for school fees and;

Another child now has access to safe drinking water, which will help them better concentrate in school and;

Another community with readily available potable, productive water for use every day, for all generations, for many decades.

Rather marvellous, don’t you think?

Water Cooler Health – Six Super Quick Hydration Tips

Water Cooler Health – Six Super Quick Hydration Tips

As this is all about speed, we’re dispensing with the usual lengthy intros and diving straight in:

  1. If you’re on the move during the day, carry bottled water with you. If you’re more stationary during the working day, drink water upon waking up, well before your work commute. Drink water when you arrive at work and continue replenishing your water throughout the day.
  2. Install a bottlefed or mainsfed water dispenser. A water cooler at your premises is an efficient method guaranteeing a constant supply of chilled or ambient temperature or even hot (for your teas and coffees) drinking water.
  3. Hydrating Drinks other than H2O. Drinking herbal drinks or teas (as they don’t contain caffeine) is a great alternative to water. As is water infused with fruit. A few tasty combinations are mint and cucumber, lemon and raspberries (tart and refreshing!) or orange and strawberry.
  4. Water rich food. Prepping water rich snacks or meals for your day is easy, quick and packs a hydrating healthy benefit. Think berries, stone fruits and melons and/or lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and many leafy greens. They also all contain other nutrients vital to your well-being.
  5. Perspiration is an ally – use it. Unlike with cooler weather, when it’s hot, it’s easier to see when you’re perspiring/sweating. Perspiration is one of your body’s direct methods signalling that you need to replace the water you’re losing. Even if you’re not that active, it’s easy to dehydrate. Make sure to drink water regularly every day and even more so when you perspire.
  6. Tag family, friends, and workmates. Wherever you are – home, remote work, workplace – set-up a buddy water alarm clock with whoever is in plain sight. Check regularly to make sure they’re drinking the water they poured. Repeat at regular intervals.
Water Cooler or Water Dispenser – is there a difference?

Water Cooler or Water Dispenser – is there a difference?

In brief, not really. Allow us to elaborate: AquAid provide a wide range of water dispensers (or water cooler dispensers) to our customers.

Installing a water dispenser from AquAid makes good sense as we offer the user a wide range of high quality water coolers dispensing refreshing drinking water at varying temperatures, be that cool, chilled, ambient or hot.

We are one of the largest water dispenser suppliers in the UK – just one reason why it would be wise to make use of our services. With numerous branches local to you, we are able to offer convenience, prompt delivery and service thereby ensuring you receive our best, irrespective of your organisation’s market sector. These include small, medium, large companies and organisations as well as construction sites, warehouses; medical and dental facilities, through to production houses and fitness centres.

Having a water dispenser on site means you are able to offer everyone in your organisation and customers and visitors alike, access to refreshing drinking water, thus ensuring healthy hydration habits.

This includes the recent addition of our Touch-Free range – available as either bottled or mainsfed water coolers.

Our Bottlefed water cooler dispensers are perfect for the smaller businesses or work environments that do not have hundreds of individuals to service.

For larger offices, business centres and schools, our Mainsfed water coolers are the most practical and cost effective. These units dispense filtered and purified water, drawn from your mainsfed water supply, providing constant access to refreshing drinking water on demand.

Furthermore, the AquAid water cooler dispensers are able to adjust their water temperature, allowing your selection of chilled, cool or hot drinking water, all year round.

With all the benefits that water cooler dispensers offer, why not install one today?

Are all Water Cooler Suppliers the same?

Are all Water Cooler Suppliers the same?

We don’t believe so. There is a multitude of water cooler suppliers in the UK.  What sets AquAid apart are the inclusions integral to what we provide with each watercooler purchase. These aren’t add-ons – although we offer those too – these are inclusions that we and many satisfied customers believe to be what makes AquAid the preferred water cooler supplier across the UK.

So you have now had your brand new high-quality water cooler installed and your first question is:

We have a Bottled Water Cooler – how often will I get a water delivery?

Depending on the size of your business and usage, we offer a variety of delivery schedules. We therefore offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly bottled water deliveries to meet your hydration requirements.

What if we run out of water?

AquAid offers all our customers a free-of-charge emergency service should you run out of water. We know the importance of keeping hydrated and will always do our best to avoid situations that will leave you without any drinking water.

How often will my water cooler be serviced and do I have to call to book the service?

As per the WHA guidelines, we sanitise all Bottled Water Coolers every 3 months and Mainsfed Water Coolers are serviced every 6 months. These services are performed by our experienced WHA accredited service technicians and should take no longer than 20 minutes of your time. You do not need to remind us to service your machine. Our systems automatically let us know as and when your machines are due for their service.

Hmm, fair enough … but I am a little concerned about how this bottled water is getting to us in terms of your carbon footprint. Is my AquAid local?

It most definitely is – AquAid have 23 distribution points across the UK, which means that your water cooler, water and water cups deliveries; as well as your water cooler maintenance and servicing all originates from your local AquAid branch.

Now, the biggie – what else sets AquAid apart from other water cooler suppliers?

Since AquAid began operating over two decades ago, we believed and continue to believe, that donating to charities that provide sustainable solutions for those less fortunate is vitally important to a successful business.

We are understandably proud of our association with the charities that we work with. With every bottle of water that we supply, 30p is donated to The Africa Trust along with a £20 annual donation on each Mains Fed Water Cooler installation. Christian Aid also receives a 10p donation with every bottle of water that we supply. Some twenty-two years on, we are proud to report that the current total donation figure is in excess of £16 million pounds.

The charitable aspect of your AquAid Water Cooler

You may be aware that AquAid has, since their inception some 21 years ago, donated in excess of £14 million to charity. This extraordinary achievement is due to their commitment to ensure that, since their first day of operations, a portion of their sales is donated to charity.

Charities where the principle focus is the implementation of sustainable water projects across the globe and from AquAid’s perspective, specifically throughout Africa, where a large percentage of the world’s poorest people reside.

What you may not be aware of is that for every bottle of water purchased and for each Mains Fed Water Cooler installed, a donation is made to the charities that AquAid has supported since 1998.

The charities AquAid support:

Christian Aid – AquAid have to date donated over £3 million to this charity, resulting in sustainable water projects throughout Africa aiding more than 338,000 people.

The Africa Trust – AquAid began this charity in 2010: 19 years later, over £6 million in donations has meant more than 1.2 million people have gained access to clean drinking water through the implementation of sustainable water projects such as the Elephant Pump.

If you’re considering installing a water cooler, we recommend AquAid.
